2O24 • BURIED TREASURE ♧ - 9 Series

Buried Treasure explores the layers beneath the land, where hidden objects and trinkets lie.  The painting plays with perspective and encourages the viewer to either imagine they are looking down at buried objects or through wormholes that are floating in the sky. Pulling the viewer in to excavate bones, jewels and old parts, it reminds the viewer of all the things that can't be seen that exist below the ground. 

A series of 9 paintings that combined form one greater image. The painting was started in the Wool Shed from The Farm in New Zealand.

Materials: Acrylic on Canvas. 30x40cm size. Combined 90x120cm size.
