About Art Studio - The Story
Art Studio began when Antonia started painting in the Wool Shed on the family farm. Starting at the beginning of 2024 after having moved back to NZ from the UK as a dual citizen (Kiwi/Brit). Using that space as a studio, the paintings began to accumulate and in April, she opened up a gallery in town to share them with everyone living in Timaru.
Recording the painting process in videos, Antonia created a YouTube channel in May and has since started a several series playlists and uploads weekly.

Inspiration
Obsessed and forever passionate about art. Antonia takes inspiration from the beauty of New Zealand, which feels like it hasn't been as thoroughly artisticly recorded like other countries have been. As well as surreal artists and abstract ideas.
Antonia studied Animation at UAL (University of the Arts London) and draws inspiration from a wide range of creative practices.

Track a painting: Email us to buy a piece that has been sold to another collector. (All collectors details are kept strictly confidential. Art collectors will be asked if they would want to be made contactable by other art collectors to sell their bought artwork to them. Art studio would take a 10% commission.)

Shipping and Delivery Information
- Packing and Shipping: Our canvas art is carefully packaged and shipped with the utmost care to ensure its safe arrival to your doorstep. Each piece is securely wrapped to protect against damage during transit. We use reliable shipping carriers to deliver your artwork promptly and efficiently. Rest assured, your canvas art will be handled with the utmost attention to ensure it reaches you in pristine condition, ready to adorn your space with beauty and creativity.
- International Shipping: We have successfully shipped our 40cm rounds to the UK. Our 30x40cm canvases and small artworks would also be achievable. Larger artworks may be harder to ship until we can organise an appropriate carrier. please email: antonia.artstudio@gmail.com if you think you'd like to purchase one of our larger artworks from overseas.
- Delivery: At present we can deliver artwork personally within the South Island of New Zealand and local to the Timaru district where the gallery shop is based. Although collection from the gallery shop in person is preferred.
- Collection: After payments have been confirmed, an invoice will be sent to you by email and your Artwork will be packaged and ready for collection from the gallery shop floor.
- Fragile items: If an artwork has been damaged during transit we are truly sorry this had to happen. Depending on the degree, we may recommend solutions you can try at home or we can recreate the artwork. Some artwork may be unique to the time it was created in, so we may come to some arrangement where we either send you a small token gift for free or we could come to you and personally repair the piece. Email: antonia.artstudio@gmail.com with your concerns. We want you to enjoy every minute of your experience purchasing artwork from us at Art Studio.
