Glaring Sun

Artist statement: "The trees that are on the farm are so enormous and great. This gum tree seemed to warp over the sun and as the light passed through, it became hard to see the details of the leaves through the blistering haze. I kept the brush strokes very abstract and simple, as I wanted to convey how naive the leaves felt as they swayed in the breeze."
