Glitches between Realities

Artist Statement: "This painting depicts two different realities that are happening at the same time. The glitch between them is representative of a rainbow or a TV channel faltering. Rainbows remind us of the things we can't see and what lies beyond the spectrum of light. On the left is a cross section of a hedge which can be seen spreading all across for miles through the New Zealand country planes. "
